The DocID Assistant offers the ability to insert the document number in various locations of a document (typically the footer) and integrates with numerous document management systems. It also includes the ability to insert other information such as client/matter number, version, date, time, author, and more. The DocID is automatically inserted when the file is saved; however, there is also an option to manually insert or modify an existing DocID.
